Im gonna hopefully drive it when I get my permit. Im going to ask the guy about it saturday. Might get it for free.

It looks like a 68 because I have one similar to it but its a GMC. That would be a very nice project to work on, chop the roof, paint it copper head orange, lowering kit etc,etc,etc. I love working with old trucks and cars, it makes me all tingly inside:lol: :beer

Looks good from the photo. My neighbor has a short box he wants to sell. Its a stepside with a six and four speed.

Yea it does look good but the only thing is the tailgate is rusted up. I was thinking puttin like 33's on it.

If you look in the advertiser's list in the back of a Truckin magazine you can find supplier's for almost all the parts you will need to fix it up. I really like Chevy's and Ford pickup that were made from 67 to 72. They were built solid with not all that much plastic.

keith black flat top pistons ( 9.7-1)
ported d3 heads
stock intake with a 2 inch phonelic spacer
850 cfm holley carb
L&L headers ( they made bigfoots headers )
duel 3 inch super 40 flowmasters
comp extrem 4x4 cam
1.7 roller rockers
pre 72 roller timing chain ( it advances the cam 6-8 degrees over a newer set)
um.........that might be it


the best thing i love about my bronco is that its not over built and still kills my 94 mustang gt off the line....:w00t:

I soon hope to have an old truck too guys, i know im only 13, but I think I can get an awsome truck for dirt cheap(around $600?), have to sell my quad for it though. 1973-1986 Chevy 1/2 ton, shortbox stepside, automatic, cant wait to ask if it is for sale!
