what is a good strong paint to use when repainting a swingarm...and should i primer it first..also on the axle too.

Sandblast 1st. If you cannot snadblast, remove ALL paint and sand down.

Then Prime, use any name-brand spray can paint (add 2-4 coats depending on paint quality) and then clearcoat.

I would suggest getting it powder coated. It cost $50.00 to $80.00. Powder coating is much stronger than painting.
