how hard is it to put a 3 in body lift on a 92 2wd explorer? any info would be sweet!!! thanks

It will take all day with 2 people who know what they are doing. some welding and modafing. It is really hard if you have never done it before. Get someone who knows what they are doing to help you. Trust me, If you install it wrong you will total your Explorer out.

Before you do that contact your insurance agent, they may not cover your vehicle if it is lifted. My insuranec agent said "sure we'll cover you, for an extra couple grand a year. Just a thought.

dude,don`t let people scare you....you`re only doing a body lift and they are not hard at all,just take your time and don`t get in a hurry...i`ve lifted many vehicles over the years...here`s an example:

this had a 3" body lift,10" superlift suspension lift,and 44" Ground Hawgs and was named "Bonecrusher"....i miss it:(

I haven't seen any body lifts require welding, but I could be wrong. Hardest part is getting the bolts to come loose!! I've done a couple of 3" body lifts which took about a day to finish.

the ones i was looking at says it is complete and is a bolt on. all i need to do is drill out one of the front mounts a little. its on sale for 98 bucks right now. should i go ahead and get it? thansk for tha advise. by the way nice suburban!!! thaqt thing is awesome.
