Man I'm so shocked to be reading this. I never did get to meet Tim in person but when I was alot younger and he use to work on the site and chatted with him for hours and hours and hours on end. I still have a copy of the first movie he ever made "RedneXtreme" that he mailed to me. I wish he would have had the oppertunity to come to Trikefest one year and see how what he started has escalated so much. It really sucks hes gone...I'm just kind of speechless. I doubt theres much we can for his family and friends, but if there is please let us know. RIP Tim.

I can remember chating w/ him and billy when I first got on the board. Howdy and I talked about him quite a bit at TF06, how we needed to get ahold of him and drag him to TF07. He started this site, w/o him this would be nothing.
I can't believe it, Im bunned big time. He and his family will be in my thoughts and prayers. He will be missed!!

I am in disbelief. Tim was a pretty amazing young man. He was a teenager when he started this site, and he gave me hope and faith in modern youth, and taught me that some "kids" are worthy of total respect, which I always had for him. I first spoke with him and joined this site in the late 90's. As people were calling us both "Tim" and it was getting confusing, he posted, "there are just too many Tims on this board" after which I added the "Sr" tag to mine. I am deeply saddened to see such a young man's life ended that was so full of promise. My prayers for Tim and his family. Godspeed my friend...........

Well, its hard to even type out about something like this. I just like to pass on my regards and wish the family the best at such a loss. Makes me realise just how special a child is when I think about the parents who lost such a talented and amazing son. My son means alot and I can only IMAGINE what this does to a person. I can only say im so sorry for the loss. Tim you will always be in my thoughts and prayers as well as many here .I will miss, and have missed, the conversations in chat we all used to have from the beginning of a GREAT THING you started ,and made move ALOT of people closer to dreams of the past. Fair well my TRIKIN brother. You will be missed.

I never chatted with him but I always wondered who he was. When I first joined the board Howdy was the man answering all the posts and I just assumed that he was threewheelio.

My heart goes out to his family, what a horrible tragedy. RIP Threewheelio...

I'd just like to add that something can be learned from this. When I was young my dad taught me to never trust a jack and to always have blocks of wood or even a spare tire under a vehicle in case it slips. Always have a safety backup!!

Maybe some of the members here could get together once a year for a memorial ride. It would be a nice way to meet each other and maybe get donations for a worthy cause.

That sucks....I hate to hear stories like that. I first came to 3WW looking for a flat track kit in 1998 or so. Tim had a picture on the site of a bike with one. Eventually I sent him a bunch of the pictures in the 250R pics section of the site. Sad to see him go. Just remember that we are not invincible and to live life to its fullest. Cheers Threewheelio!!!

Hello,

I would like to inform you guys of a terrible tragedy that happened recently on July 20 – One of my best friends – Tim Warburton - past away working on a truck supported by a forklift. He was alone when the truck fell on him and crushed him to death. His funeral is on Tuesday and will be buried on Wednesday in Island Brook, Quebec. I think you guys should post this up. Great guy and he will be truly missed. I remember he was quite proud of 3wheelerworld and what it has become… He was finishing up his Truck mechanics course and had a great girlfriend, Apryl and her son that he treated like his own.

Here is a link to an article about the accident (In French)

Very sad to hear. I'm in shock I too remember chatting with Wheelio and sending him pics back in the early days when he was on the hunt for 3-wheeler pics.

My grandfather passed away yesterday evening. Then I take a break today to relax and read 3ww and find out about this tragedy.

My heart goes out. God Speed, Tim.

I knew Timothy Warburton, he was a good guy. I saw him one last time a week before his death, i didn't think much of that day but if i would of known it was my last time to see him i would of done a few things different.

At the young age of 22 he was working in a garage on Haskell Hill in Lennoxville, that specializes in repairing Land Rovers, a popular British jeep. The accident happened outside, on the lot next to the garage. Police do not know if it was the lift that gave away or the jeep that slipped off. Police received the emergency phone call at 12:35 p.m. He was announced dead on the scene.
His wake will take place Tuesday July 25-26 2006.

He may be gone but we will always remember him for what he has done and who he was. I will miss his silly little comments on life and the way he always had a grin on his face. I wish i could of been there to help him, we all wish we could of been there. He will be missed. R.I.P Tim, you will always be with us inour hearts.

The pic attached is Tim jumping over a fire the only guy i knew crazy enough to do something like that.http://www.lostandwild.com/gallery/main.php?g2_itemId=430

sorry to hear about this. I used to talk to him everyday back in the day but never so much after he handed over the reins.

we already have a memoral ride or should be (trikfest) if it wasn't for him and his dream there would be no trikefest, threewheelerworld or the friendsships that have been made here.

damn shame, i work with fork lifts every day, and sometimes i have to go under the forks with stuff on them, but im always VERY quick about it, i would NEVER work on something when the forks are above me, and especially with something that large on it, youd either have to be stupid OR fearless, or both..... but we all do stupid things, and some times we pay for them. my friend who was 21 died last summer, and im 22, and i fear all the time at work that something like that may happen to me, ive been coming to this site for years and road trikes all my life, im a new member to the forums as of a few months ago, damn shame. i wish some one would have been around to tell him what he was doing was wrong and completely dangerous. doing something like that is walking in front of a train in the distance to pick something up, and just taking your time picking it up - you dont know if its moving fast or not, its a chance you take... but if you were to stand on those tracks for a few minutes and do something, then walk off... you dont know if your going to make it off. alot of fork lifts the size of the one in the picture, the forks dont tilt back much, and the bottom of a jeep isnt exactly the best thing to put on forks..... i wish they would put a warning about things like this on fork lifts for people who dont know better, we should write to Hyster and other fork lift companys to let it be known to people who dont operate them every day.

I just read the post, Man thats too bad . I worked with tim from day one getting 3 wheeler world started up. Over the years I cant tell you how many people he sent my way to do 3 wheeler restoration work, being the father of 3 kids myself , I know his parents are proud of what he has done and kids like him are few and far between today . He will be missed greatley makes you stop and think how important life is and how fast it can be taken away from you, My prayers go out to his parents and family and we all know tim will still be part of this site forever. Farewell my friend , Rest in peace.

WOW!! I just found out about this today when I noticed someone's sig mentioning "Tim Warburton - RIP" and I thought to myself, that was ThreeWheelio's name  and I did a search when I found this thread. I really am speechless at this sad, sad event. I too joined around 1998 when ChrisD. sent me this way as I had been riding trikes since the early 80's and just started "playing with the internet". That was when this was just a little "anglefire" site IIRC. I still have the sticker from back then on the rear door of my trailer. My heart and prayers go out to his friends and family. Tim was truly one of those people that could instill hope in us for the youth of today. Godspeed Tim, you will be missed.

I haven't visited the site in several months. I remember the first time I saw Threewheelios site ID. I instantly thought of C3PO and wondered how different STAR WARS would have been if that ultra-proper droid would have had the attitude of an ATC250R!

As we grow older, we come to know who we actually are and what we are passionate about. I define it as Clarity.

Life is not a destination, it's a journey.

In this time of loss, I want to share the fact that we all have a Heavenly Father that loves us more than we can comprehend. He sent Jesus, His Son to die for us ALL, so we could have eternal life with Him in Heaven.

The plan of Salvation is simple...trust in your heart and have Faith that Jesus is the Son of GOD and that He died for you on the cross. Ask him to come into your heart and be your Lord and Savior. Ask for forgiveness for all of your sins and shortcomings and you will have the Eternal Victory!

Rest in Peace Threewheelio.
