hey fellas,
this happened about 75-80 miles from my house, way back in 1980,(I was 13) and I never knew this until tonite : http://geology.wcedu.pima.edu/~acook/story.html

I remember that happening. We were planning on going fishing there that coming up weekend. My dad came in and told up we won't be going fishin there because the lake dissappeared. I figured he was joking but seeing the news, yea it dissappeared. About a week or two later it came back as fast as it went out. I don't know about how the fishing is now, but before it happended it was an easy lake to catch fish in. If you were not catching fish there that means you don't have a hook on your pole.

after reading the article,i seem to remember that. i was 14. maybe i was to busy riding my brand new 110 to pay attention.

hey, we must be around the same age..i was 13-14 back then also. I think I must have been busy hiding from the parents, tryin to smoke something or maybe hump something:naughty:

wow,thats amazing stuff.the human race can really change,or rather screw things up huh?,lol.never heard of that before.maybe because i was 1 at the time,lol.
