Why bother emailing folks if you don't intend to buy? I mean it's like your egging on the situation, I know that they shouldnt get all pissy with you but still. no need for you to email these guys to let them know what they think is wrong. Granted say if he listed it as an 87 model and it's an 85 the yeah let him know that. but not sending some stupid email about how you think he shouldn't have "very hard to find" in his topic.

Maybe it was hard to find for him??? who knows.

the tank?? don't you think plastic can be painted???
cars have how much plastic and rubber/urethane bumpers
they can be painted and the gas would't hurt them either
but thats a typical kawi tank my 420 is the same way,im assuming its from the old crappy oil back then soaking into the tank it sux's too :(

If you guys can remember some time about 6 month ago This is same guy trying to sell the vintage and rare byrd "Turd" 3 wheeler for $3-500. I emailed him when he put the first tecate on ebay asking for details on the condition(ie, brakes, motor, etc) and he got down right nasty with me. Simular to your experience. That is why his feedback is (private), I read his feedback before it went private and is showed his maturity level "a first class ASS." But the tanks breathe, wouldnt you have to seal them first?

Yes its true you can paint any plastic tank but you need Red Kote or Kreme it.

I also noticed that it has drum brakes on the front end. ala 84 model. Cant see the rear hubs though

lol yeah he bought a 350x form a guy in houston off of craigslist and then he posted it on ebay i quess he did not realize that it was already on there for weeks and it never got over $1000,
