lots of money.that is a 7 million dollar trailor.to put it in prospective, last year our company had 18 billion dollars in revenue.if you figure a good company makes 10-15 percent, they are doing well.we build about 60 trucks a year.not all 53'ers.alot of eod, cci, fbi, postal, nasa, and cbc trucks are built aswell.those are usually smaller,14-28'ers.

on a build like this we had 6 weeks.right now i am leading a truck for cbc, which is the canadian brodcast commision.i got 9 weeks on this truck due to the codes, and electrical design, and difficulty.on average we have 4-6 weeks.which is not enough, but we work massive hours to get her done

after tf i had a truck waiting on me.i worked 2 weeks, both over 80 hours to complete the truck in just 16 days.i saved the company 15,000 dollars in penalites, and the awarded me with a bonus of 250 bux.nice gester, but damn, break the dog off a grand...you know!!!!no,i do well enough, and they are great people to work for.

i build mobile broadcast viechles.any time you watch sports,we build 9 of 10 broadcast units in the us.we currently build 50% of news vans.pretty interesting stuff.alot of moving walls, and flip out monitors.sliding consoles, and counters.all those black screens are lcd monitors.alot of money hanging on the wall.this truck is a 53'er,with a 50 expanding side.sometimes we build double expandos.both sides then come out,and floors fold down, yadyada.i love what i do,but like rick stated, the main women is a bit hard to please at times.

I was mainly looking at all the rack mounted equipment in the 4th pic. I used to be a bit of a music studio tech head but I don't recognize any of that gear.

That's awesome B. Do you do any design work or just mainly the installs?

Cameras aren't allowed in where I work. Pics are :banned:

well alot of it is feild design, and fabrication.the engineers know what they want, they just don't know how to get it there.pretty much they tell me how they want it to look, and i figure out how to make it work/look good.alot of times the clients don't even know what to expect.they have the ideas,in the shop,we bring it to life.
