Its amazing that somone would buy that for over a grand and I cant hardley get a hit on my 250's and they both run perfect. people

I dont think 4 grand is too much for that air cooled 250r , try to restore one that original , for some reason NOS parts never come around for these bikes and if you add up what it would cost to build one to this standard you would be way over 4K and all original is always more desirable in the collectors world. just my 2 cents

Mike is right, most people are looking at it from a riders point of veiw and 4K is insane. To the collecter (the person i think this machine is actually aimed at) then this is a great opportunity to expand the collection and not spend 10K or better on a resto to do it.

Did anyone read the description? "Starts up on first kick without even choking it!" Maybe the choke is just stuck in the on position? Maybe his air filter is really dirty?

My Z will start right up without the choke......

My buddy has an 83 that doesnt need the choke to crank either, the air cooled ones dont seem to be as finicky to me
