Obviously I have crazy fantasy cars that I HIGHLY doubt I'll ever have (shelby cobra, 67 gt-500, McLarin F-1....) But my future dream car that I actually can and WILL get is this:

1967 mustang, Red with white stripes, 427 crate engine, Full roll cage (get in through the windows!) and 4 point harness!

and the infamous 427 big block!!!:w00t:

1966 Ford Fairlane, 2 door, hardtop. Not the fanciest car but still a real classic. I'd build a 390FE carburated engine for it, C6 transmission and a 9inch rear with a limited slip. Dark blue, but not too dark.

The "infamous 427 big block" that 250r'en posted on the first page looks like it would be much more at home in one of your corvettes than in any of the Fords he may be dreaming about.

Maybe he has a real 427 big block  pic somewhere...

It's a pic of a small block chevy engine. I checked the Summit site and they have a variety of stroker crate engines. The Ford 427 crate engines I found on their site are also small blocks.

If you are referring to the 60's Cobra, then the engine you are looking for is a 427 FE big block. I hope you haven't ordered an engine from Summit if you want an FE!

Well an R34 Skyline or a TT Supra would make a great daily street ride... but I just bought a 99 Eclipse GSX a couple of months ago and have been spending most of my time since mod'n it! So this was my dream car, and was fast when I first started driving it. But now I want more and need FASTER! I'm way too hooked on this car, yet things are really affordable for it. I can't imagine the money I could sink into the Skyline or Supra, but will someday own at least one of them... :naughty:

NOW, I really gotta rebuild my trikes top end before DUNE SEASON so time to take a break from the car already.

WTF??? a 383 Hemi?? Since when?

Well, We all know if you take Hemi Heads, put the left one on the right, The right one on the left, and bore it out----

Actually there is a trick that the oldtimers did to the 383/400 Cid.... It involves swapping in a 440 crank, and Chevy BB con rods and 403 cid Olds pistons....

It Came out to 426 cid....But certainly NOT a Hemi...

Yep the X is turbo all wheel baby! I had a RS before, which is the same as a GS with different cosmetics, and they are slow non turbo commuters. You want the GS-T or Spider convertable that are turbo. I thought, well I still like the look of the car so lets just get the best model ever made. AWD ROCKS BTW, just neet to get paddles for it

Dream car is a ls-6 70 chevelle, I can't afford a real one so I did the next best thing and built a ls5 SS 454 clone. Well Im building it anyway. For those of you that aren't into chevelles ls-6 car didn't come with air, my car was factory air/4 speed so figured do a ls-5 clone. Jim

Prolly some dumb peugeot...sort of looks like somethin the french would do. The RS Cosworth Ford Escort is pretty sweet. Not a big fan on the front light but everyone has their preferences. How bout this Escort? ANyone guess the year? It's the stickiest of the ickiest. Two years before MG went to rubber bumpers and the Spridget went to the Triumph motor. Loads of hints for the Brits.. The rubber bumpers started in 1974, so I'm guessing thats a 1972 MK 1 Escort?:wondering
