All of a sudden the drive chain would bind up? It would free up after rocking back and forth. The other day my wire got it really stuck and woods and it took a while to free. On the short ride home it made some grinding noises and I smelled metal. Oil level is fine and it does this in both high and low. I thought maybe the chain was to loose, but after tightening it no change. I took the chain off thinking it was warnout and reached inside to move the sprocket and it was still bindng. I took the high low range cover off and both shafts move fine, but with the gears closest to the case in place they bind bad? Anyone ever heard of these gears wearing out? Thanks Pete
