Anybody here into rockcrawling? Just watching it on tv today with all these guys busting up their rigs. It was kinda hilarious!

Yeah I had a nice Jeep Cherokee that I rock crawled for awhile. I have since given that up but I do miss it time to time.

I do a little rockcrawling on my Big Bear sometimes, but nothing too hardcore. I'm gonna wait till I put some skids, a lift kit and 27's on it before I get all extreme about it. Also, I have trail driven my Grandpa's Toyota Hilux pickup a few times.

I miss my good 'ol POS '85 S-10 4wd. The thing was a a straight up beast. All my friends went out and bought $2-3k Jeeps, and I went out bought a $500 S-10. I ended up pulling a few out, but in this shot, i ended up getting pulled out by the red jeep on this page: http://chaoticwraith.tripod.com/scott/id1.html
The orange CJ-5 on the site is the greatest thing I have ever seen when it came to offroading. He took to my ATV trails, which I thought was completley impossible for any jeep to do, but he proved me wrong. I could NOT believe what I saw that day. My respect for jeeps is high. He did break a leaf spring mount though, diving head first into a creek, designed for ATVs to go down into. But he didn't care, he just kept on driving.
But, my s-10 could things that both of those jeeps couldn't do, because of their wheel base.

My dad used to do a little rocking and mudding in his 76 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40. I was usually always along with him when he did, and his Toyota didnt have any troubles doing anything,

a few years ago i was big into Pirate, back when I lived in Co. and did alot of the trails. I ran an 88 Toy with a solid axle. I sold it when I moved back to La. and i cant for the life of me remember my old user and pass. Now I go just to read the chit chat and my new username (same as this one) has 1 post:D
