I know a guy who has 2, a 1986 and a 1975. The 86 runs great, but needs new tires and a little carb work. The 1975 needs plastics, and I don't know how it runs. I was wondering....he doesn't have them for sale, but I wanna buy them because the 1986 is like the perfect bike for me. How much would they be worth if I wanted to buy them?

Nah it's easy.(not the actual trial riding I dunno about that) But I was over at the guys house yesterday, this bike is a ball. It needs a little carb work because it won't idle(plus I think the gas was a little old), and I was able to pop wheelies effortlessly, and I could even get it to peel out in 2nd and 3rd gear in the gravel. It's surprisingly powerful for 200cc's in my opinion.

The tlr's werent bad little bikes for what they were. Not quite a full on trials bike, and not a full on dirtbike. They pull really good off the lowend and fall flat on anything beyond that (trials bike blood there). The suspension is really quite limited for anything but putting around or trials style riding. However, the tlr is not a full on trials bike either. It's best suited as a funbike, to learn a little trials riding and have fun on, though you could probably enter it into a trials match and do alright with it (if you can find one).
