Lets keep bumping it to the moon   The one thing with ATC 250r tanks is if you get one without any gouges and decent color you can make them look that nice in less than a day....I cant say that for other tanks like tecate or white motocross tanks.

when you must have oem nos you have to pay. you of all people should know this bill lol none of my bikes will ever compare to most. but i wanted a nice tank for my 85 r. but even used ones in good shape are costly. so i just bought a $25 dollar tank cover!!!!!!!!!   problem solved. now if that tank had a buy it now for say $150-200 and i saw it i would have snagged it up and just relisted it. i see our buddy is high bidder but he has been out bid before. best of luck to who ever gets it.

No its is not that at all, I wanted the tank and still do but..... I was willing to pay what I bid considering I was bidding against a real honest person. Seemed like everytime I would bid two minutes later igot outbid by the same person. So they were running my bid up, you know his buddy probably. So after I got outbid for hte last time I left it go. Now today all of asudden the high bidder all of asudden realized he bid to much and retracted his bid and bid right under my high bid to keep me paying as much as they could. Well I am not having it, sorry I think it is unfair and a bunch of crap and am not interested in purchasing something in a auction that I feel the seller is puppet playing. Just my opinion and I also noticed I entered the wrong amount today as well. Oh well. Only my opinion, not saying any of what I suggested is true and maybe I misunderstood the whole situation. Just my feeling and my money so I acted the way I fealt. No hard feeling towards anybody.

If you and another bidder placed the same bid amount, the earlier bid takes priority.
You can retract your bid under certain circumstances only.

I do not have my buddys bid up my auctions, as a matter of fact you retracted your bid when you were not even winning the auction. I do not know anybody that has bid on this tank.

NO I DID NOT RETRACT MY BID WHEN I WASN'T WINNING THE AUCTION. Look at the bid retractions I posted from your auction, it has the times when they were retracted. ATC_stuff retracted and bid right under me and that made me the high bidder, I then retracted my bid, then atc_stuff was high bidder again so then he retracted his bid AGAIN.

I am confussed because I did not get any retractions from ebay until today and I got yours first and about 20 minutes later atc_stuff retracted his bid on this auction and all of the other auctions of mine that he was bidding on. I do not know you or atc_stuff. I thought that the two of you were working together on this. Is atc_stuff a member on this site?

I believe that there are a few of us around here that purposly bid on items and have absolutly no intention of buying it. JUST to drive the price up so in turn they can sell their same items at a higher price. or try to stimulate the market...:wondering

not gonna mention any names.. but I see the same usernames bidding on multiple items all the time in the bid historys.

To those of you that do.. (and you know who you are) PLEASE... get a diffreent hobbie ...

peace.

Just too funny ! The only way to bid on ebay is the last 5 sec. Put your best bid in hope to get it. Or you just run the price up WHY?

Hahaaa. I admitted it that was a dumb post. I apologized. I was having a bad day but your comment got my attention.

Wanna roll? Have your "driver" bring you and one of your atc's up here on the 21st for our gruop ride? Do you even know how to ride a trike without killing yourself? Keep up with me out on the trails and I'll shut up. http://smilies.storagebin.us/smilies/whatever.gif

I've been riding and wrenching on these things for over 20 years... where was you back then? I tingle in your daddies teste?

You make threads... buy me out of my atc parts... but yet there you are bidding and driving prices up... you bug people for info on fatcat parts.. what do you do.. backstab them...

I'm done with this thread.

Twenty years ago I was four
No I do not wanna ride with you
Yes I can ride without killing myself
I do not ride often do to time etc
I wanted to sell off some of the parts I had alot of excess of
I do not back stab people or pry them for information about fat cat parts. Believe me I can make my own decisions and research on my own. If not then why had I already found and been watching the fat cat parts/one being the one I purchased and DID PAY FOR.
I still want the same thing for christmas

I didnt think your pathetic for your post at all. I was merly comenting on people biding just to raise prices.

That gets on my nerves. There have been a couple items I have bid on lately where everytime I bid someone outbid me seconds later. I felt that someone was trying to drive the price up, so I let it go. I have seen a part or two like that that were relisted days later! surprise suprise!

I was more impressed with the final sale price of the three discontinued decals
180.00 for the rear fender decal
80.00 for the front fender decal and
80.00 for the small honda headlighlight decal.....3 decals... 340.00 bucks!!!

I can see somebody buying a NOS piece for BIG money. Heck, I got $200 for a restored 85/86 250R tank, and $200 for a restored 86 350X front fender. Restored looks great if done right, but NOTHING compares to NOS. It just LOOKS better. (IMO)

Nearly 7 Bills for that tank is quite high. I would NEVER pay like that, but it really is nice to see some guys REALLY want stuff, AND are willing to pay.

More power to em.
As for the guys running up the prices....weak.
