after getting my rear shock set up to where I wont bottom out anymore thanks to the help of mr atc I decided to check the pressure in the front forks to see how they were holding up only to find that there was no charge in them at all. I was wondering if I could test the seals with air before wasting time and nitrogen on them. Is this not a good idea? please help. Joe

Never put air into your front suspension. You'll most likely blow the seals. The air valves are there to release the pressure buildup in the tube behind the valve. If they bottom out during normal riding you need a higher lb or kg rated spring set. Check out the White Bros catalog. You can download it in pdf format. It has pressure relief valves you can install in any forks. Also various fork springs.
