Man, now I'm super stoked! We're going to put out corn for the deer tomorrow, and gun season opens next Saturday. Got the 300WSM ready to go.

Congrats on the buck. Sure is a nice one.

I was invited out hunting on indian land today, so I passed on bowhunting for this saturday at my spot. And the indian that took me missed a good sized doe.

And on a previous post, i think pope and young is the archery side of scoring, b&c is the other rifle/shotgun/rpg.

Yeah you are absolutly rite on that,Boone and Crockett are gun /muzzleloaders and pope& young are archery!! My bad,but the scoring system is the same for both!! Your buck roughly will go over 105 with just guestimating what I can see!!I got a nice one last year ,I will dig out a pic when I get a chance, our gun opener in Mich is the 15th,your is at the end of the month is'nt it ??Let me know what the score is when you get it done,Congrats!!!

Very nice buck indeed! I'm betting Brapp didn't pull that out of the woods with his two feet and a drag!!!!! I'll guess a 250SX pulled it out.

LOL - I wonder if Brapp ever went to Africa hunting elephants, if he would pull it back home on a 110? I'll bet he'd try - and probably do it too!!!

sorry to dissapoint yall but it cam out of the woods on a 02 foreman450es, the terain was nasty and the sx didnt have a ball on the hitch for the trailer. i didnt just wanna throw it ove rthe rack either well final weigh is wAS 228LBS DRESSED!!!!!!! SO I DONT THINK THE SX COULD HAVE HANDLED THE LOGS AND STUF FI ENCOUNTERED ANYWY. I HAD TO KEEP THE SNOWPLOW ON THE FOREMAN TO PUCH THE DEAT BRUSH AND LOGS OUT OF THE WAY TO GET HER OUT. IT WAS A HELL OF A CHORE BUT I GOT HER HOME.

Im not sher if pope and young for the gun is 120 or 140 but i know its 120 for the bow. Its a nice buck definitely a shooter. I have to guess its 120 or 125 on that buck.

One word: Marinade.....with battery acid. It takes a couple of weeks but they will be as tender as....as.....a rotten branch on the forest floor you picked them off of. Just don't mind the tangy aftertaste.:p

What DO you do with all those bones? You must run out of wall space to stick them. My house would be just too small for even one. I would probably leave it for the creatures of the night. I saw a deer when I was going shooting about 3 weeks ago and man did it run. I was just able to get out of the truck with the video cam before it was at least 1/4 mile away and going up a hill. It was looking back to make sure I wasn't following.
