I was watching a NASCAR program on Speed today, with Larry McReynolds, Chad Knaus, and Bootie Barker. Bootie was in a wheelchair, what happened? I didn't hear about anything happening to him? What's up?

He has been in a wheelchair sence he came into the sport. If I remember he was Wimmers crewchief in Busch the year he won 4 or 5 at the end of the year. He is a smart dude and a good crewchief, but I'm not sure how he ended up in the chair.

Wow, I never noticed! I think he's a genius on these cars and very well respected in NASCAR. I watched an engine assembling contest between his 2 best mechanics and Chad's best 2. Bootie's won.

I guess the race will be rained out today. I hope anybody but 48 wins the championship.
