i am going to get one of these cheap quads. do any of yall know the absolute cheapest place to buy just one in south florida?

there seems to be allot of tricks up teh sellers sleaves with these things. they want to charge you crazy shiping cost, they dont like walk in costomers eather.

i just want to hand some one 400 bucks and get a box with a unasimbled quad inside.

i can put the damn thing together. and drive to pick it up. i dont see what the problem is with these guys. i know the probably cost 50 bucks a piece when they buy a whole container full.

any tips?

You can get a 100cc mini quad here for $550 in Southern Illinois, it was a pink one though ;)

I got mine from www.rightwayatv.com it was fully assembled and it cost $500 shipped. It is a Kazuma, and through some research I found that they had the highest quality or quarity. I found that the body work, wiring and frame strengths on some china models are suspect, but Kazuma products seem to be built well, IMO

My cousin bought a kazuma 110 quad for his daughter and it was like $500 or so shipped to him in oklahoma from houston. The thing doesn't get ridden much but one thing he did first rattle out of the box was lower the shock attach point on the swingarm. It had a tendency to roll over and that made it squat a little. Good luck on your search.

One more question too. On the carb there is a idle adjustment screw and then right beside that there is a air/fuel screw. When you turn it in is that richer or leaner. This is a 4 stroke motor.

Rich in, lean out.

They are supposed to be a race ready, but you won't pick one of those up for 400-500. I have an Extreme Tantrum I got for my kids about a month ago. It is a 2000 90cc oil injected. Those are tough little quads. I was real hesitant to buy it because I also have a Komoto 150 and it is nothing but trouble. My nieghbor though has 2 of the little Extreme 90 as well. Thier kids ride the hell out of them. They take a ton of punishment and haven't given any kind of problems. Whatever kind you get, do your research on the company. That 400 bucks you spend to get a new cheaper quad might only get you and hour of ride time or might get you many years....
