I bid what I am willing to pay for these and meet the reserve. Then I read that the seller will not take ANYTHING but cash or a postal money order. So I readjust my bid to cash on hand and try contacting the seller. I had a truck in California an hour away from his house. ( I have a shipping company). I email him 4 times over the next 12 hours and I get no response. I offered him $6000 for both bikes right now!! No response , so I withdraw my bid.
So now my driver leaves and is in Arizona when the seller finally calls me back . He says yes to the $6000 but cash only.. I said , I will gladly pay you $6000 + paypal fees, but there is no way in hell I am sending you $6000 cash or postal money order. Why won't you take paypal, I will pay you right now. He states that paypal has thier policies and he does not agree with them. I argue that I have sold quite a few bikes on ebay and unless you have something to hide or are not being completly honest, paypal is the only way you will get this kind of money for the bikes, at least I have some protection being a buyer.
He says no paypal , no way. I say good luck, I hope you change your mind because I want both of your bikes.
I get home from work and try to bid on his auction, willing to risk a little cash on one bike only and discover he has BANNED me from bidding on his auctions :wondering
I smell a rat!!! If this seller is a member here please pm me unless you would like to explain yourself here in the open.
I know this is the same seller who had a couple of nice 350X'S for sale on ebay last year and there were some questions regarding the authenticity of the bikes and/or the auction .
Anyone have the scoop on this seller?
Man those are nice bikes:beer
sorry about the long post, I have had no one to talk to about this in over a week:lol:
