its not the first time its been posted here.

the conversion doesnt look bad but its a weld on job and it would be a pain in the arse to try and convert it back to 3 wheels.

the one thing I can say that would make it look better is to paint the front plastic to match.

you know, alot of people on here dis on the 4-wheel conversions and call them junk and "a shame". Dont you think these 4-wheel conversions should be part of some of our collections? We all love 3-wheelers and like to learn history about them etc... Well im not saying that i like it, BUT these 4 wheel conversions ( not the hillbilly deluxe/homemade conversions) are part of the 3 wheelers history. just my 2 cents

I don't know that might be a suzuki quad sport Or quad racer front end. It has disc brakes.

ive seen that on Ebay a couple times. it's a quadsport front end it has the upper ball joints that are bolted on with 3 bolts.

the Astro kits were a copy of a quadracer frame and front end but this dont look like one of those conversions.

The first statement is correct, that is a quadracer front end, and chopped up TRX250R plastic. This is a backyard conversion.

The second statement is not correct, but it became a popular theory because Astro had their plastics made by Maier, and and while each plastic was custom fit for a specific model trike, it was based on Maier's Quadracer design. The "grill" portion is interchangeable with Maier Quadracer plastic, but the rest is custom fitted for a specific trikes and is not. This quad is not using the Astro Maier plastic.

The Astro front ends were of their own design, and do not interchange with anything. They had custom a-arms, spindles, hubs, and tiny mini-cycle grade hydraulic disk brakes, are are like nothing you'll see on any other quad other than the bolt pattern. I cant remember which, but the rims were either Douglas or ITP, and even though a standard bolt pattern, the stud holes were smaller, and had to be drilled out for use on other quads. They used a generic single rate 12 1/2" front shock. Astro also used all SAE instead of metric hardware. Youll have to trust that I know it well, as I spent a great deal of time resdesigning mine. I dont have a closeup of the after upgrade pic, but you can see the difference. Also youll see what Astro plastic looks like, as it was pretty much the same for all their kits
