Ok been checkin Ebay out lately and found alot of nice loud horns for vehicles. I notice alot are train horns but they really dont appeal to me, I like more of the semi truck horn. Anyone have these horns and if so how loud? I was looking at some 152db ones lol

i have a vintage 6 volt train horn set on my lincoln its full electric and since it runs 12 volt through them they are louder than an actuall train now, and I have a set on my other air ride lincoln that are plumbed through my air system, they have 6 horns and go well over 180db, its stupid loud, but it get them out of your way!!!

Your my hero!!! I have been really tempted to pick up a train horn, but know I would get in trouble with it.

I was toying with the idea of sticking one on my 85 CRX.

My best friend has a loud air horn on his truck. It's load enough that semi drivers jump some times. I want to get one like it for my Ford Escort when I start driving it. lmao
Howdy

I'm thinking of getting as portable tank and just filling it up every night. My only thing is I'd have to figure out how to hook a switch up to it to open and close a valve. I'm sure there are electric ones i can get

Depending on the ones you find they can be ear shattering. Been there done that.

My very close friend had a 94 ranger that was on air ride and we hooked up a three horn system. We plumbed it right into his air tank for the bags and pat a switch in the cab. Said to be 152 decibles. That is loud enough for me. You start to loose hearing at right around 130 db's. He got in trouble one time from the cop at our school, (when we were in high school) some girl was backing out of a space and didn't see him so he lit em' up. That cop was in the parking lot with the lights on in no time. They arent to hard to hook up and they are fun just to know you have them. go for it!!
