Anyone lucky enough to ride one of these things? I'd love to come across a decent priced used 503 or 600 Hawk. Can't afford the 800's 13k  price tag, maybe if I rode it and fell in love I'd play up but then and only then would I do that. I hear great things about them once you switch the ski and update the clutch. Not as stable or forgiving of riders mistakes like a snowmobile is but it'd be super fun to ride around on and I bet it goes everywhere you point it.

I didnt look into it but if I didnt know any better I would say this is a BRP product. The color scheme and the engine. Hum...just like the Suzuki Sidekicks and Geo Trackers were the same. Those things look really cool.

Ad Boivin have a contract with BRP to use BRP motors in their Hawks. Theres an 800cc Hawk for 2007. 140hp and 400 pounds, think thats right..

That machine would last about 5 runs up here.
Annually we get about 3 feet of snow . So no jumps, no going fast.
Then how do you get off dig a hole in the snow, like you do on a dirt bike in the dirt.

It looks like it handles like a jet ski... Just a dirt bike with track and ski.

ahhh the snowhawk. I remember watching the videos of that when it first came out and wanting one so bad. Its true though, upstate NY is not the best environment for that sled. Never ridden one so I really shouldnt be saying this, but to me it seems you would want wide open spaces, big hills, like in the video. Not trails that are costing more and more each year to ride on. yeah I agree though, 14K is high for a new sled, as much as I like that, I would rather spend the money on a new 4 stroke Yamaha. Anyways, nice video, thanks for posting it!

They had a bunch of them at the snowcross race a few years ago. I can tell you they looked like an awsome track racer. They put on quite a show.

They seem to handle good on hardpack snow trails. Ice may be a problem but around here I'd bet they would rock!

Don't pay 14k for a new one and not know if you'll like it. Let someone else take the big hit and buy an older used 600.
