That is a little steep. But I know if he sold them all separate, he would probly get close to a thousand, or more.

Well when you restore a bike 100% You do not worrie about getting you money back. Do the job right NOS parts a must. Never do half ass job ! When a part is discontinude and you can not get it anymore what do you do. put up the money. Or spend about 6 -10 grand and make new molds for plastic.. I should know.

FYI ...As far as the price i sold my all my extra 200x NOS rear fenders like hotcakes with BINs of between $500.00 and $650. If I held out longer I could have gotten more. The last two new headlight shells alone went for $450, Never saw a front fender before and a white 87 200x shroud is SUPER rare. Reality Really stinks doesnt it???? as one collector recently said to me when He was buying some of my extras..You cant go to Walmart and buy this stuff. FYI for me its not about the money....any nice money I make on selling my extras goes right back into me buying new machine and rare parts I dont have for my collection.

your exactley right Bill,
these parts were right in line with the current market and they are only going to go up from here , I cant tell you how much i have spent on parts for my restorations its just how it is you really cant put a money value on non existent parts I only wish I kept the tons of NOS 350X stuff i had 10-15 years ago I had NOS white fenders stacked as high as you can beleive if you only knew I love the hunt though it makes it much more fun

I can kind of relate to the person who spent 2k for the fenders. I restore the Honda hardtail Z50's. For a '68 alone, you're looking at $300-$400 just for the little plastic on-off toggle switch, another $400-$500 for a new rear fender (only made for the '68) and another $600 just for the seat (again, only made for a '68). I wouldn't doubt he's doing a 100 point restore and then maybe getting it registered with duPont.

Do you have stuff for 68-72 Z50's? I have 4 projects I need to complete by July and have been slowly tracking down the right pasrts for each bike. I need '68 fenders, both.
