I forgot about these and this "find" is about when I got a bit nuts over collecting BMX bicycles ........

I was just up in the attic and realized I have (these are all brand new, 5 total) two Schwinn Predator frames (chrome & blue one, BEAUTIFUL!!) from the 90's, a real nice Gary Fisher one (REAL NICE) with the forks on and two small ones that I have not even taken out of the box yet!

No idea what they are, I got them and the GF one for free for doing the neighbor a favor.

I'm most anxious to post pictures of the group but got to go to relatives now so I'll post them maybe when I get home.

I just want to know if any will look familure to any of you. Not sure if I will build them up or sell them.

Stay tuned and thanks!

I found one of those someone put out for the rubbishman... I brought it home and redid it. :naughty: Still needs the gyro and brakes hooked up though.

I only have a few anymore  , honestly.

These are it, not all BMX'ers as you can see. That Mcgrath one will be worth BIG BUCKS in time !! The Schwinn Scrambler is the one that started my sickness  though.

Paid 30 bucks for this ..........

Won on ebay for 60 bucks I think. I never heard of it, just thought and still do think it looks coooool.......... (note how the handlebars/grips have a bend in them, that IS stock, quite confortable actually)

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v253/huffa/Powerlite-Garage001.jpg

Was about to be picked up by the garbage men, all rusted to heck ...........

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v253/huffa/ScramblerinkitchenRS.jpg

Found this under a pile of bikes, all original, note grey tires and dragster slick on rear, cool man, cool ...........

The famous 1978 Schwinn KLUNKER !!!!!! :beer May be the ONLY one you guys will ever see!!! Very TRICK !!! So rare a 25 year Schwinn collector never heard of it!! Only made for 2 years and Schwinn had to remove name or get sued !!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v253/huffa/klunkeronMillcreekRS.jpg

I take them all for a spin every once in a while. I get some stares being that I am 51 years old, I enjoy the attention though.

Here are the beautiful frames I have. The small ones (Purple & Teal) I just opened up tonight.

The teal/blue one (a girls though) is quite a paint job for a little kids bike. I guess that and the small purple one (girls also) would be 16" I assume. Those two and the one with forks are the Gary Fisher jobs, have no idea how old they are?? Built very well though.

The Schwinn jobs I got for $1.25 a piece.....really!

I guess your saying the one on ebay is like the one you have, is that correct? It looks like it is.

What ARE you going to do with it? Will it clean up decent? I'll take it if you don't want it, unless it's not salvageable, then of course I don't want it.

Why don't you try ebaying it?

Huffa's a pack rat! What don't you own that has at least 2 wheels? I still have all my bikes from the day, a few Redlines, a Torker, 2 Rippers and a bunch of frames I picked up when I was younger.

Cool Trump Man :Bounce

Lets see them !!

 NOW

Seriously, I love looking at "old stuff". How old are they? That's great that you still have them.

My 1st bike that I worked for was a 1967 Schwinn Stingray and was about 67 bucks too. That's when Stingrays 1st came out. Man, did I feel cool pedaling that thing around the neighborhood. Had a two foot high sissy bar and all. Yep, I grew up in the 60's man. Those were the days ;)

Any pictures I need to take will be done in the spring. All of my stuff is still at my parents house. What can I say, they have tons more storage space then I have. If they're not asking me to move it out... then it stays. Plus, any old pics I have are in my old bedroom. Haven't lived there in 17 years but nothings changed. I'm sure I left some food laying around in there somewhere :(
All of my bmx stuff range from '80-'86. Hey, did you happen to see the Redline for $20k on ebay???!!!!! Number 19/100.

NOTHING

All what you see hardly cost me a thing, they are hanging up on the ceiling out of the way, so it really does not bother me to have them.

I'll bet every one would be recycled metal right now if I didn't save them. Klunker is the exception for sure, that didn't come from a find, that was a ebay job.
