Has anyone tried to sand and buff fenders before? Any tricks on how to restore oem fenders on a 350x?

what i did was sand them with 220 all the way down to 800 grit then used pc-1 on them.....shines like new and dont come off

not a great pic but these rear fenders were faded so bad they were pink and scaly

did it take the scratches out? what is pc-1

well you sand the scratches out then use pc-1 to give it a nice shine

i think dennis kirk has pc-1

its like a clear coat that dont rub off

Chainsaw did a step by step thread on how to do this. We did this on Moshman's Z and the plastics looked almost brand new again. Do a search for restoring plastics.
