Honda big red found?

Hi guys i was walking behind a motorsport repar place right by near my house and in back where they throw all there junk atcs,atvs,snowmobiles,etc i saw a honda big red not sure if it is a 200 or a 250 but i think i was a 250es? im not shure though it was eletric start with back up kick start. Nice seat and newer rear tires so i kicked it over and no compresson whatsoever but it did not clank like the rod was banging in the cylinder walls maybe there is no rod at all? but engine is complete no carb and someone cut a little eletrical box on the left hand side behind the side panal. Anybody know what may be wrong if so will it be expensive to fix? They may just give it to me but how will i tell them that i saw it i dont want them to know that i was back there! awww man

Hi guys i did some research on it and i found out it is a 250es not a 200es they had backup pullstart 250es had back up kick start looks just like this one some guy is selling on ebay and it is in about the same condition!

I would try and get a hold of it just because the parts alone are worth a good price if not free. It may only need rings and a piston, and maybe some wiring. who knows it could be a good bike someday.

Cant hurt to ask them about it. Might be an old custormers that gave up on it due to repair costs.

Worst they can say to you is no. I had a guy at a shop aproach me and my trike a couple years ago, he said, "nice trike, want another?"

They gave me a complete nonrunning 185s! Wasnt pretty, but you cant beat free!

Ive gotten a few freebies before.. Just go there and ask about it.. Like ATC-Eric said, the worst thing that can happen is theyll say no.. or they will give you a price..
