Well it's quite obvious that we as a group ,forsay have come up with an alotment of beautiful restored ..... engineered....and modified racing Trikes ,but I am calling everybody out to see if he or she can build the sickest Custom trike !! I am not talking about major split the case with a Turbo crank Mod's ,but just the average everyday 350X ,or tri-Z or R or Tecate with that little bit of Bling that sets it apart!! I am suggesting that the higher anarchy on the site would confir with us having a competition at TF '07 with the people being the judges on the sickest custom trike at TF'07!! Just an idea but I think all will agree!!!

I'm in! I'm building the ultimate MX trike (IMO) this time around. It will definately be on display at T.F. More trick parts than an O.C.C. chopper! lol

Well it's getting to be about crunch time for most of us wrapping up our customs and conversions.I have been checking up on the post of you guy's ,seeing what you's got left to do..It seems to me like Jason Hall is the only one of us that has completed his project's.I personally am gonna be cutting it close for TF,but I ain't sweating it yet.I am soooo looking forward to seeing all the customs and conversions this year..Just getting a progress report on everyone...

Hey Rick, I know the darker tank is growing on you, but for future reference I have without a doubt confirmed that Reflex blue matches our plastics.

If you go to Dr.ATC parts sight they show custom 70 plastic that he had made and its out blue matched to a perfect clarke tank in Reflex blue. Just thought you'd like to know for later down the road.

I've been stretched to thin as of late so I gave it back to Brapp, its in his hands now. I don't think he'll have anything for TF on the 450 front but you never know, he might surprise us.

If someone wants to say and little prayer, and cross their fingers and toes for my beast I would appreciate it.

Right now its resting in pieces.... :-(
I'm making last minute repairs and still waiting on my forks to come back AGAIN.

Looks like I wont be able to bring my 480 this year, things have been so crazy with work family and the farm, and it still needs so much to be done and done right. Actually at this rate I'll be happy if I can just make it to TF this year :( Probably will make it just in time for the MX races, have to see. Anyways, next year I'll have a nice conversion. Nice work guys, bikes look awesome

Louis, What was wrong with your forks Before?

Louis Mielke
06-04-2007, 10:49 PM
Sent them to the suspension place. They resprang them and serviced them and sent them back. They sat in my living room for about a month then finally I got it together and spent one day of trail riding on them and by the end of the day the fluid was squirting out the bottom of the forks.

Sent them back to the suspension place that did them about 3 weeks ago. The owner claims that someone tried to take them appart since they had worked on them, the lower forks caps were loose.

I called BS.

He said that they get tightened with a impact gun so they couldn't have just "came loose"

I called BS again. Said something like that should be torqued with a torque wrench not an impact gun. Insisted that I was too scared to take them apart thats why I sent them to him in the first place. Demanded he fix them and ship them back to me free of charge.

He finally gave in and they were supposedly shipped out back to me last tuesday/wednesday.

Here's hoping they actually make it back to me in time.

Other than the leak by the end of the day they road pretty nice. I really hadn't had a chance to dial in the clickers yet though.

Jason Hall

Ahh, yes there Is a copper washer that seals the lower cap. It Is hard to tighten them with a ratchet or anything other than a Impact, because the Inner tube spin's unless they are spun fast. Well hope you get them back In time.

I'm running a 400EX thumb throttle and a YFZ450 cable on mine with no problems, if that helps.
