Anyone ever shipped a whole engine or frame??

Is an engine usually shipped in a sturdy plywood box?? And how about a frame?? How would someone send me a frame? Thanks guys!!

i have shipped both.the frame i just shrinked wrapped and the motor i put in rubber maid tots. it wasnt very expansive either. only $50-60 to shipe a frame to cali from new york same for a motor. good luck also i shipped them through the post office

yepper, the plasticware is great for the motors.. and if the frame is getting run powdered or painted.. just throw a label on it and let it ride!

depending on the motor, you can knock 20-30 bucks off by shipping through fedex ground. post office has gotten pretty rediculous along with airnorne express. ups is still somewhat reasonable, but fedex is cheapest.
