hi i need help on adjusting the vavl on my kawasaki bayou 220. help me otu

you need fealer gauges, and a few tools, I beleve a 10 mm wrench and a small flat head shorty screw driver, take the valve covers off (after first taking the front rack/plastic/gas tank/seat off first) you will see the valve adjuster there, fist find the specs of what distance the valves need to be set at, and put that fealer gauge size in, now (if its the right size) lossen the nut around the adjuster, and then turn the adjuster with the flat head untill you feal a very slight drag on the fealer gauge, now once you do that, make sure without moving the middle adjuster with the flat had, tighten back up the nut around it with the wrence, and your doen with one, repeat for te other side. I have a bayou 220 in my shop right now, also check your timming chain tension as well, if your doing this work you realy need to have a work manual.
