View Full Version : Fire @ local Yami dealer destroys ATV's,bikes and sleds

I was eating lunch yesterday when I saw the entire sky turn black about 6 miles away.My boss and me took a ride to see what was burning,as we got closer I knew what it was and it didnt look good.My first thoughts were "My Yamaha shop was burning down". I got to see the damage upclose(friends with firemen and store owner),stacks of new ATV's and bikes still in the crates were reduced to metal skeletons and still burning.There were also some streetbikes and sleds lined up that were burned to nothing but metal.Theres a huge pic in the local newspaper but heres the article online. sry no pic :( http://www.recordonline.com/archive/2003/04/22/hycyclef.htm

I hope there was no ones Tri-z or trizinger inside getting worked on... they make new quads and sleds everyday. :-D

what jim didnt know as today the yamaha shop was burglerized at 4am this morning. two guys broke in trying to steal stuff. they didnt get away the store owner drove after them in his truck and actually ran into them about a mile down the road also. he got one kid and the other kid got caught hours later. they also stole 2 trucks to get to the shop.i was at the yamaha shop today with my son and it didnt look good from the fire that broke out yesterday. he lost around 65 machines in the blaze. i asked the owner if there were any pw-50 burnt he said no. i said damn he wasnt happy with it.i wanted a motor for nothing.lol didnt get it. but instead i spent 75 bux there on the pw-50 for my sons race in 2 weeks. :idea:
