I just noticed the negative post about me calling dibs. There has been tons of stuff i have let go on eBay because other members where after them. I have done that for 100's of members on this board over the years. I was hoping for the same consideration but i guess that isn't the case. I was just letting y'all know that i was going to win no matter what and if you bid against me you would just drive the bid up.

he is going to be taking some pics of the back axle for me. i think it might be something nice. This engine will have a total rebuild and go on my shelf. I am not going to put it in he 83. i am trying to keep it original as i can.

Yea i know what your saying. I used to do the same but not anymore. If i KNOW someone here is bidding on it then i wont bid. I just dont even tell people about things on ebay that i want anymore. You used to be able to do like your saying but i think anymore people dont care and just bid regardless of who else is bidding.

i also thought the rear axle looked like something good but wasnt sure. It looks like its the same diameter the whole length like most aftermarket axles are.

There is no way i am going to be able to make the drive. He has agreed to ship me the parts i want. I am thinking about building me an air cooled flat tracker out of it. It wouldn't be that competive but it sure would look cool.
