Lost a really cool piece for my showroom tonight

I had big plans for this and didnt bid high enough....it was only 2 hours from me and it would have been perfect behind the HONDA ATC lineup. BTW i had a 527.00 bid on it. VERY bummed I am right now

i dont have a showroom, or even a nice enough bike for a showroom but ive always wanted a big old honda sign like that. I thought i was the only guy who was crazy enough to want a big 15 foot sign in my garage. :lol: :lol: wish ya would have won it.

Just hit up some old local Honda shops. Honda used that style sign at every dealer I have ever seen for years, I think they just now switched (within the last year) to an updated version. You could prolly go around and find one alot cheaper than 537 bucks. Heck Im sure that most of the places otherwise just throw them away

You can also call sign shops that install them, they usually take away the old ones. Theres one local to me that has a bunch of old signs out behind their building, next time I'm over that way I'll stop and ask about that one. I know theres at least 5 honda dealers they could have worked for in the area.

Thanks I' m still pretty bummed about it...not the first one Ive seen on ebay but the cleanest and closest and thats a good combo :cry: :cry: :cry:

Theres a dealership in my neck of the woods that has that exact sign, I am friendly with the GM there -I'll ask him if I can forward your number to him in case they ever redo there building-it is very old and has been rumored to be getting a makeover for years now-I'll let you know if he is interested.

Hold on a minute guys....I bought a DOUBLE SIDED new in the box sign via help from a memeber on the board, One side is up on my wall already and the other is for sale to help pay for that VERY expensive purchase..its all good:D

Yep, If you guys have noticed I been selling a few other machines as well its not because I dont love em....its because I have purchased 6 (yes six) more TIGERS and a cagiva in the past 2 1/2 months and that doesnt come cheap! just getting them let alone restoring them....have to make some sacrifices to pull that kind of thing off...OC has been working very hard "behind the scenes" on the collection to be unveiled in the next 6 months
