help with wiring winch

i was wondering if anyone has a diagram or could tell me how to wire my superwinch t1500. i had it on my qaud and took it off a while back and forgot how i put it onlast time. also do i need a battery to run one of these? thaNKS IN ADVANCE

You can go to superwinch web site and they have the wiring scamatics that you might need. You will also Need a battery cuz winches pull too much power for a stator to handle over a period of time.
