Tired of looking at my pitbike just sittin' there , so I picked up a rolling chassis ATC70 and combined the two!! The motor is a Lifan 120 w/ big valve head. The clutch is mounted on the main shaft so it starts in any gear. It also has a Kitaco inner rotor , Crower G2 cam and Yosh pipe. I used the heat treated aluminum subframe from the bike to mount the seat and plastics to the 70 . I'm probably going to replace the wheels and tires with aftermarket aluminum wheels and holeshot tires.

I'm thinking about selling my RCM rolling chassis. I'd have to get another subframe, but the RCM is one plush ride. 5" travel in the best forks in the business, 10" of travel out back on a shock that soaks up anything you can throw at it.

hey mike this is my first time on here. i see *Edited**Edited* using the lifan motor i have a 110 trike and would like to stuff a lifan 125 or 138 however they are kick start do u think i would have any problems with clearance between the kick start and tires. and also would a 125 be enough power to even move it. im 200 lbs and the lifans dont have high/low gears? any help would be appreciated.

The Honda 110's have a different bolt pattern than the Lifan ( based on the Honda 50/70 motor) so you would have to do some fiddling to get the Lifan in the 110 frame - check with Dr ATV I think he has a bracket to mount the Lifan in a CT 90/110. My 120 with the 141 bore up makes an honest 12 hp at the wheels and has no problem hauling my #210 . No high/low gears needed but you could always run a smaller counter shaft sprocket which reminds me the Lifan runs a 420 chain the ATC 110 is a 428 chain , a while back you could get 428 sprockets from Xtreem pit bikes - google Guy Cooper he was selling the Xtreem line. As far as the clearance for the kicker notch your fender don't extend the arn on the kicker and kick from the end. Or you could just buy my rig have have a rocket ready to go.

just before I sold my trike I switched it to pull start. Trying to kick start a high compression 145 with not enough room to kick cleanly through lead to too many kickbacks!!

there's a new crop of import motors out there that are making some serious hp . you can get a 165cc ported , inner rotor monster from staggs racing for $899 . Put on of those in your next ATC70 build!!!
