this is a really nice atc250r, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1985-Honda-250R-ATC-ALMOST-BRAND-NEW-No-Reserve_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ6724QQihZ010QQi temZ200080739082QQrdZ1, its really close to stock and looks almost new. I am wondering if its true that a 85 is considerably faster than a 86, as he states on the bottom of his item desription? I never heard such a thing before??

I don't know for sure on the cylinders either, but it does make sense that they backed off a bit. I know trx cylinders were detuned a bit though, especially 88-89. Hondas reason, We gave it more tractable power, DETUNE!! 86 atc and trx cylinders same? dont know either. My buddie has a bone stock 85r still on oem piston and it is very fast. I have heard that intake and exhaust bridging on certain cylinders is different and i'm sure port timing was adjusted as well. It would be nice to see pics of all the different year intakes and exhaust.
