This in unbelievable! I have a NOS OEM rear fender and a front fender (never used), both with stickers....makes me wonder if I should sell them and use the money to finish my project with Maier plastic.

What type of riding are you going to be doing? If your going to be rough, I say get some maiers!

Doesn't make sense why this post was moved....I was only facilitating discussion in Trikesylvania.

I ride hard, but I take good care of my bikes. I know my limits and rarely lose control to the point of wrecking. Stock fenders just look so much better.

I can't believe how much that thing sold for!

A new set of Maier with new 350X stickers and say maybe some custom black stickers across the back to simulate the mudflap would look just fine. I know for sure the STOCKERS would be up on Ebay in a second flat. If you are one of the wealthy individuals that has an abundance of money laying round...at the very least I would put the stockers in bags on the shelf, and run the Maiers anyway! LOL.

That's what they've been bringing lately, or close to it. Makes you wish you would have bought 10 sets from honda 3 yrs ago, for $220 each! The restore guys buy them. I wouldn't put them on a trike i was gonna ride. Maybe try to find a used OEm fender for that, if you don't like maier.

You can still buy a new set of rear fenders from Honda for $216. Whats the difference between those, and the ones that are on ebay right now?

350x fenders have been discontinued from Honda for a few years now. They are no longer available. If they were, ide have me some for sure!

Oh, I was just on an outdated site......

I know you can still get Tri-Z rears, I did.

Many parts are discontinued that don't show as discontinued on sites. Service Honda is very good for this. 3/4 of the short track parts are discontinued, but only 2-3 show as it, alot of stock 85/86 atc250r are too.

I did it. I listed my new OEM fenders. Couldn't pass up the chance to buy all the other things I need to finish my 350X....now all in black and red.

a guy who would pay 2 grand for a fender would be the kind of guy to pull up to a gas staion thats charging 8 bucks a gallon and fill up with a big grin on his face thinking he's got the best gas in the world. Makes no sense at all, If I had a set laying around they would be on ebay in a frickin heartbeat and I'd mail it to the buyer with a bomb.
sorry

Yeah, that's a lot of coin for sure. But if a guy is well healed and is doing, or having done, ( think Vintage Motorsports) a first class resto, money really is not an option. Much like a vintage car only on a smaller scale. Vintage bikes both on and off road get the high dollar resto treatment if the customer is willing to pay. And sometimes only hard to find oem parts are the only choice. Thats why some restos can take years to complete. To bad i'm not in that league, but at least there will be some very nice 350x's out there that will live a very pampered life.
