haha,dude,i got about 2800 in the whole bike.i bought it for 2 grand,put a piston,and cams in it.then had the head ported...twice,lol.then the cost of p.c.

don't worry nate,you'll be seein alot of her this year!well unless i trade it for this cannondale hybrid!!the guy has elkas all around,hypers,a yz426 national motor in it,65hp,i mean fully built dale.he wants a production quad.so i may trade,dunno yet.

you should trade you'll be getting the better end of the deal. my friend has a biult 426 with 65 horse in a 250r chassis and when the one summer he raced flat track no one could touch him at the track. no guys with production 450's could hang with him on the straits. the quad motors are detuned big time.

the only guy that would pull him had a trx250x with a tc racing 350x motor in it punched out to a 530cc. he never beat that guy.

yeah i am doing the deal.even if the 426 is a junk motor,the cannondale will accept another 426,or 450 without any mods,and thats what i am looking at.hopefully the motor in it is nice and tight,and i don't have to worry about that.just looking at worst case scenario.the zuki is a fine machine,and very well built,but just doesn't,never will have the power to satisfy me,or my needs!

you'll have to post some pics when you swap. and see what radiator he is using on it. my buddy used and stock 250r one with a stcok 250r cap and it kept blowing antifreeze out the over flow.

he checked around at the dealers and by talking to people at the races that the 250r's are set at 12psi in the cooling system and the yzf426's are set at 16psi. so the cap would not hold in the pressure. he used a yzf cap and it stopped.

he never had any bottom end problems and he biult it in 1998 or 99.

my one buddy has a 1998 wr400 in his custom framed 250x and they lug around better since they have a heavier flywheel.

yeah i think it's for the best.the daoe has a better chassis,250r geometry,and a stonger frame,more hp.i think it's a good deal.hopefully it's as tight as he says.he is installing all new bearings,and heims this week,just got the elkas serviced,and the motor has 5 motos on a fresh piston,and rings.i am also getting the 250r conversion kit for it,so i can put trx 250r plastics on it,man they look sick like that.check this page out,look for the white one.thats what i want mine to look like!!!it's the forst one on page 5.siick siick siick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!eerrrrfffff!!!!

yeapers,rode it a little around the house,and down the road.it needs a little tuning,but i think it's running stronger.still a little noisy,but i think it's normal,and i'm just paranoyed
