Ok, parts for my 350x motor are long overdue. Apparently the dude at the machine shop said it would be a waste to resleeve my cylinder and get a new piston because there is so much material left on it. So the guy at the shop said he got a lead on a 20 thousanths oversize for it. Problem is he hasnt said anything else about it, Its been like almost three months and i wanna finish my quad so hereis what im looking for if any of yall can give me some info. I have a powroll big bore and stroke kit, the piston is 86 mm, and im trying to find an oversize for it. Please help me if you can, its startin to get nice out and im starting to get an itch to ride.:(

Well, you should have a couple options. First you can contact powroll directly and see if they have an oversize piston kit for their big bore sleeve. They should, but if they do not then...

You need to take a good hard, long look at the Wiseco off-road catalog http://www.wiseco.com/default.aspx I just browsed through mine I have saved and found the XR350 engine is 84mm std, and the xr400 is 85.0mm Theres liable to be other brands in the same bore range also, just be wary of wrist pin location varying between different engines.

Yeah guess ill have to get in contact with powroll, and im working on getting a decent 350x to put the powroll motor not sure if want to do it though because the 250x frame is set up for flat trackin already.

i know a early 80s xr500 piston will work and its a 89mm

and with a 4mm stroke that will be a 460

now what i dont know is what stroker you have and with a xr500 piston the rod needs to be shorter then normal ....id say call powroll

ps....if i remeber right the xr500 piston pin is 3mm lower then a 350x piston...thats why the rod needs to be shrunk more them normal
