Well...I'm bidder # 1 and have already been out bid. I do like the fact that the current owner stated he bought it to fix up and now has other interests. Pulled no punches. Listed every issue that need attention and didn't try to hype it up. No "super rare" pipe on this 1 like the last Tecate on Evil Bay a few weeks back.

I almost went to look at it the other day. Its listed in the phx craigslist. I got kinda discouraged when he told me it is only a 4 speed? I thought for sure the 86 motor was a 5 speed so something cant be right.


Okay just confirmed it. YES the 1986 KX500 motor is supposed to be a 5 speed, so either something is altered or messed up in that trike.

hah - the vultures are circling. Someones trying to snag that toolbox and seat i see.

Must be bigger springs in the forks to get it to sit so high up front? My stock 86 is real low up front in comparison.

Seriously - some one here should get that bike. There are some very good parts on there worth some good money to us tecate owners.
