I was hillshooting and the whoops took a toll...... Darn paddle sucked the right rear fender ripping it lengthwise and across the back....so I had to shave them down....

Does this mean I can finally be classified as professional trike fabricator?:welcome:

The only problem is ....THE WIFE IS PISSED :banned:

I used a good steak knife, 3 butter knifes and 2 sets of toenail clippers......http://www.3wheeler.org/vb/images/smilies/doh.gif

not to mention a half dozen of her good emery boards to do some final freshening up:TrikesOwn

you'll see I was rolling comp cuts in the before pic....well I wanted a little more aggresive paddle and me thinking that a bigger wedge would work...... I switched to the SandSkateII...The only extra aggression I got out of them is when they took it out on my rear fenders

IMHO - looked better with full fenders. AWESOME Mutt though. I love it. Now - a question from an east coaster - does it throw sand all over you without rear coverage? I know just running stock fenders on a 250R - 350X - 200X around these parts coats you in mud if it is the least bit wet outside.

Thanks.

not at all, you will get the occasional sand blasted feet and legs from the front tire while its carving through the sand

Whats up with these dune trikes eating fenders like corn flakes?
First El Diablo has a snack on some nice oem's and now the Mutt? Is this a common thing when running paddles? Trees or a hill climb gone wrong are all fenders in these parts fear.
