I saw a video of a guy riding his street legal ATC250R down the 6 lane freeway in L.A. So I know it's possible. I sure wouldn't want a 2 stroke though.

Ive seen a Warrior in Califorina a few years ago and recently Arizona in DirtWheels. There is a wicked BMW Powered quad by GG Quad North America ( www.gg-quad-northamerica.com ) that is waiting to see if our government will legalize. If so then its time to ride on the streets. :w00t: Ive been waiting for this for over 10 years. They are legal in Europe. Oh yea Can Am has a new backwards 3 Wheeler called the Spyder Roadster. Id rather have a street quad.

Ya the word Quad reminds me of my uncle who is paralized and in a wheel chair. Quad, Doesnt sound right........ Quad.............................................. ...................... Say it with me, Queer, I mean Quad. haha. No I would love to have a street legal bike but it will be a trike not a quad. This looks like a nice machine all the same but not for me. I'll build a trike outta a xl 250 and its the same as a motorcycle, then stick the 250r engine in it. hehe

In cali you cant plate a anything with a locked rearend. A straight axle like the quads have would never fly with the cali dmv. Even the trucks and jeeps have to have a controled locker or limited slip.

Looks like swap is in order. Say a 84 kawasaki prarie rear end. Chain drive, differential can be manually locked or run open. Don't know if any other trikes ever came with a factory differential, but these would make great doner rearends for a nice street legal atv.

hey, sounds like hot air to me. short tires means it's going to be wound pretty tight all the time, that's why I was checking out the trials quad, tall tires. banshees are way too easy to seize.

Don't know about all that. After all the banshee's heartbeat comes right out of a streetbike, the 83-85 rz350. Yes the bikes had autolube and different porting, but, they are essentially the same where it matters. Think of the possibilities, Cheetah Cub cylinders and all the good stuff with it. Easy 400cc and up, and 100hp potential. Yikes.

tires are no big deal, you can always gear for speed... and banshees aren't any easier to sieze than anything else if it was built right.
