Now see boys and girls this is a prime example of why NOT to be an impulse buyer!

I got a remanufacted carb. Holley themselves remanufactores theses carbs and about 80% of the time when these carbs are sent back to them there's nothing wrong with the carb at all!!! It's usually just the people who bought them didn't jet/tune them properly!!!

I'm building up a 351W engine and I had decieded on going with a Holley 700cfm double pumper with mechanical secondaries. Here are the prices along with links to those carbs....

New from summit $380: http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=HLY%2D0%2D4778C&N=700+4294839063+4294902720+115&autoview=sku

remanufactored $330: http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=HLY%2D65%2D4778&N=700+4294839063+4294902696+115&autoview=sku

The price I got on ebay from holley themselves!!! $224: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/700CFM-Holley-Factory-Refurbished-0-4778S-Carburetor_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33550QQihZ01 4QQitemZ330106891493QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW

nice buy :beer seems a little more reasonable than the 830hp double pumper i bought last year (around $650), and it's still waiting to go on my project motor :wondering

I think you got a good deal. Good luck!

That's a good deal but Holley leaves a sour taste in my mouth after the base warpage I experienced. I'm a Mopar guy so I'm stuck on Thermoquads now but I had good experiences with Edelbrock carbs.
