quad flat track oval races video update

First race of the season is coming up, anyone close come out and run. No tire restrictions. Want a trike class? Could happen if you show up :beer

First race of the season went off pretty good, could have had a better turn out but we had 12 guys run, mostly 450's, 2 250's and a raptor. The track was loose all day due to the high winds blowing dust on the track. Water didn't have a chance to soak in before the wind dried it out. We draw for position for 2 wide rolling starts. I drew dead last like usual, just lucky that way :lol: Top 3 from each heat redraw for position in the main. Here's the video of the first heat I had a buddy tape from the stands. He had to leave early so I didnt get any footage for the second heat. The main event was interesting to say the least, I will post that tomorrow. One quad didn't make it out :eek:

We had the track to ourselves all day, you could go out any time you wanted to practice so everyone got tons of laps in, we don't get that luxery on Friday nights.

Main event, top 3 in each heat redraw for position. I drew outside pole. About 2 or 3 laps into the race a couple riders got tangled up and caused a bad crash for one rider, this is almost a regular occurance in each main, I've seen alot of bikes get dragged off the track over the last year, mine included. You can see he takes a big fall, thankfully he is not seriously injured but his bike took alot of damage. These guys were all experienced except for the guy you see standing up in the back of the field, no idea why he was doing that. The guy that crashed ran all last year and usually finished in the top 3. Sad thing is he also runs a car at this track and had a huge crash the night before so he had a terrible weekend of racing. The video was broken up into two parts due to the crash.
