Guy in town has a bunch of trikes. all sizes and shapes. Well he tells me he use to sell his 70s for 450, but lately nobody will pay that kind of price for one. SO, now he gets these chinese quads that are broken real cheap. he cuts off the necks and welds them onto the 70 frames and makes hybrid quads out of them!!! AND now he says he has no trouble getting 450 out of them. Kind of makes you want to cry. I picked up a ridable 125m off of him for 200 bucks, he offered me a 110 for 150 including a spare fork because the one on it was bent. I wished I had a picture of one, but he says some guy is posting them on ebay or something and paying for them after the auction ends, then ships them. Jim

Unfortunately I kind of see his point, no use just sitting on these 70s if nobody will pony up the cash for them. He even takes the SX? motor and shaft drives and splices them into old electric golf carts. when hes done hes got electric start, with reverse. He tells me the SX doesnt sell to well either. Jim

That's odd because a decent looking 250sx will sell pretty quickly up here. Often for upwards of a grand. 70's are hot sellers too. I've seen mediocre 70's sell around here for $500.
