Yeah...sure ya did!! LOL!! This video was shot at Lake in the Woods,MN. These guys got BIG BALLS!! I've done more than my fair share of snowmobiling....trails,ovals,grass drags and pavement...but open water. Cross country lake racing?? Nope.

i did ponds and high creeks. there is really nothing to it. keep your body weight to the back to keep the skies up. then hold her wide open and enjoy the ride. oooo and yea ive done water riding. just not on open lakes. i have a buddy that use to do it all the time in canada. you just need to have a deep wallet and i dont thats why i dont do it.

Might as well just buy yourself a jetski. I'd imagine the water is a whole lot warmer in the summer anyways. LOL I would not want to go for a swim that time of year!

I was told that they keep a one gallon bottle velcroed to the handle bars with a rope tethered to the sled and a shut off. If the sled goes down the bottle pops off the bars shutting the machine down and floats to the top for recovery with a pontoon boat. I ran into a couple of guys from Michigan a few years ago and they had brand new sleds that have never seen snow. They bought them to ride in the summer time on the lakes. Go figure
