What are the big problem with 250 r's ? Are all year fenders the same. I would like to find out a little about them. mines an 83. thanks

there are 3 "styles" of 250R's 81/82, 83/84, 85/86, very little is interchangable between the different sets of years. but the 81.82,83,84, motor is basically the same other then that not much else is. if you have a 83 the only other year you'll be able to swap with would be the 84. and even then you may find small differances in some parts but, fenders will interchange

oh and the biggest problem is they stopped making them in 86 and turned them " :shock: :x :( into golf carts

The ATC 250R is an incredible machine no matter what year.All of the 2 stroke 3 wheelers are awesome.

i have a 250R, its and 84, its the last year they made air cooles R's, its very fast, reliable, and very powerful, right now it has no back fenders,lol, i wrecked it and brok them very badly, so when i ride, i get covered in mud...does anyone know where i could get a good pair of back fenders?
