the only thing i found was in 2003. hopefully someone with one reads this thread.i've searched the web for hours and have found nothing but this flyer.

A good budy of mine had one when we were younger it looks very similar anyway. I will give him a call to see what the deal is with it. I know they bought it new and maybe his old man has some paper work laying around.

thanks for your time. I hope he can help. i'm having a hard time finding an engine to fit, i can put a 5hp b&s if i give it a 1inch body lift. hope to hear back from you. thanks Russ

No you don't have the only one left, I have 2! LOL I actually have that one mag article as well. The Tri-Cub by Sperry Rand came with a 8HP Briggs with a pulse fuel pump. I also have one ski that replaces the front tire for winter use. Have been in the family since the late sixties.

I have a Tricub with ski kit too. Tricubs were offered in 3 models... 35, 38 and 38E. Model 35 was 5hp B/S. Model 38 was 8hp B/S. The 38E was same as 38, but with elect start. I don't think that I've seen these model number references in anything except the parts book.

I have one and i have the original brochure. They had a 5 HP and another version that had an 8 HP.
