has anyone ever put a yz 250 motor into a blaster? I am going to attempt it. I was just wondering where to mount the radiator.

I have seen a yz85 engine in a blaster frame and they fabricated some brackets and welded them to the frame I believe.

Yeah that is pretty cool. There is a guy that runs a tri-z engine in a blaster chassis out in California at the dunes.Pretty cool I think.Yamaha should have done that to compete with the trx 250r and lt 250r back in the day.

How's the handling with that sort of setup in it? Do you REALLY need aftermarket suspension with that big an engine in it?
Also, I read someone put a YZ85 motor in a blaster. How did that work out? I have a YZ 80 motor and a Blaster chassis, and they're just waiting for work.
