This is one of the local salvage yard owners hot rods. He built this very car up one time before and it almost killed him(literally). It is a Mercedes 500SL with an old school 427 Chevy big block and a 6-71 huffer. Pure street, no strip car. Beyond that I have no details. Enjoy

Believe me, this guys has built more detroit iron than I can shake a stick at in the last 30 years, he just wanted something different. Within the last 5 years or so he has built an S-10 blazer that ran 10's, a Caprice wagon with a complete C4 vette drivetrain(LS1), that Mercedes, he's currently building a big block vega for the drag strip, plus a few others that were more parts runners than hot rodders.
