They are a classic example of good idea gone bad - you could turn the Queen Mary around in a tighter circle than you can a Rokon - but at least the engine is a Honda

The cool thing is, that you can fill the tires with fuel, or water. They also float if the tires are just filled with air.

that sounds awesome, how exactly does the 2 wheel drive system work on that thing?

I believe it works via a gear reducer (sub tranny) fed by a conventional shaft/u-joint on the top of the front fender. You can see the chain running from it in the picture. I speculate that since theres no front suspension and therefore no vertical movement to worry about, it only needs one u-joint under the head post mounted drive shaft. Its been 15+ yrs since I rode one and back then I didn't really care how it worked.

Yo KXT, I know the Roadkill Cafe very well - my parents have a house in North Conway. I've spend many a winter as a ski bum in your neck of the woods.

I have a couple of them. I just got them within the last month. It is the most go anywhere machine I have ever owned. It is so fun to ride! I will be fixing one up with a Honda ATC 125M engine in place of the two stroke it came with. They have no suspension other than the spring seat and the big fat tires that run about 2-3 psi. The tires really work pretty well for suspension. There is a double u joint at the stering head and an over running sprag type clutch in the drive line so there is no bind up.
For more info look them up at www.rokonworld.com
