I purchased a 1985 200x and a 1985 350x from a local guy, both sitting in a barn for 10+ years, both bikes are 100% stock and now run fine. My question is that i grew up with both and am comfortable with trikes, but now my girlfriend is interested in the 200x. I would like her to be able to ride it, so far I have added a +4 axle(kept stock one) and now I'm looking at tires. Should I go with 18" to lower the center and make it more stable, or go with 20" (holeshots either way) and possibily sacrifice a little center of gravity for year round fun and ground clearence? Any help would be great!

Thanks

Personally I would stay with a 20" rear tire. Something with a 9" rim vs/ an 8" rim to get less sidewall. Try to stay with a square tire, not a ballon type. Also look at tire weight when dealing with a small cc engine like the 200X. A heavy rear tire will kill the performance.
